Innovation, technology and sustainability to boost tourism competitiveness
TIS2023 closed its fourth edition contributing one more year to transform the travel industry through technology, innovation and sustainability. During three days, Tourism Innovation Summit reunited 7,384 attendees.
Tourism Innovation Summit 2023 has been the international meeting point where companies and leaders in the travel and tourism industry have been able to analyse what strategies to implement to reposition destinations and their tourism products to boost their competitiveness.
From October 18 to 20, 198 exhibitors showcased at FIBES (Seville) the latest innovations and technological solutions of leading companies for the tourism sector, such as Accenture, Amadeus, City Sightseeing Worldwide, Eurecat, Google Cloud, Mabrian, Telefónica, CaixaBank, PastView, T-Systems, or Turijobs, among many others.
Besides, the Tourism Innovation Global Summit gathered 417 international speakers that analysed the current challenges of the different segments of the industry: destinations, hospitality, travel & tourism transportation, distribution channels, attractions & activities, leisure & culture, MICE & DMC’s, and business travel. Among with agendas designed for each professional profile: CEOs, CMOs & CSOs, CIOs, and three institutional agendas (Ministerial Agenda, Regional Tourism Counselors Agenda and Tourism General Managers Agenda).
