Ms. Alicia Gomez has 17 years of experience in the UN, 12 years at UNWTO and UNWTO´s Legal Counsel since 2017.
In this capacity, she supported the process for the development and adoption of UNWTO´s Framework Convention on Tourism Ethics.

She has led the process for the development of an International Code for the Protection of Tourists (ICPT), to restore tourists trust in travel and harmonize minimum standards of tourists consumer protection at the international level.
