Paris Olympics 2024 Legacy: Reinventing Large Events Organization and Infrastructures Management

Wed 23 Oct | 16:15 - 17:00

The Paris 2024 Olympics left a lasting legacy, not only in sports but also in how large events are organized and managed. This session will examine the innovative and collaborative approaches taken to infrastructure management and logistics planning for the Olympics, offering valuable insights for future large-scale events. Attendees will learn how new forms of collaboration, especially in sharing information between stakeholders, are setting new standards in large-event organization. When digital infrastructures support more efficient processes, the legacy goes beyond the Games and hopefully will bring an improved experience to travellers but also a more sustainable impact of Transport and Tourism at scale.
