Obviously as the planet gets warmer, there is less snowfall. Ski resorts in Europe are innovating and discussing diversification to provide alternative solutions. Winter sport havens are repurposing their facilities and adding new attractions but will they loose on the accommodation front? In the US resorts invested decades ago into snow making equipment but are slow to consider diversification.
