Tamlyn Shimizu

Tamlyn Shimizu is the Global Partnerships & Communications Lead at BABLE – working to improve urban life through collaboration and sharing insights. Within the Smart City sector, she connects ideas, cities, companies, and other organisations, with a particular focus in effective communication. Creating win-win partnerships with other organisations is a key part of her job and she focuses on building network partnerships across ecosystems. She also hosts the popular Smart in the City – the BABLE podcast and speaks with city leaders from across Europe, facilitates interactive and engaging panels, and engages with key actors to bring life to events across Europe.
